Shipping Details

Apparel

All apparel is made to order after pre-orders are closed. Shipping will occur in 4 - 5 weeks after pre-orders are closed. We will message you when they are ready for shipping. 

Dahlia Tubers

All dahlia tubers purchased for shipping will be carefully packed and sent in April, timed to ship after the last frost date for your growing zone. Dahlia tubers selected for local pickup are available immediately.

Each tuber is individually packaged in a recyclable zip-top bag and cushioned with reusable, eco-conscious packing materials to ensure it arrives healthy and protected. Upon delivery, please remove tubers from their packaging immediately and store them using your preferred storage method until planting time. Proper storage upon arrival helps maintain tuber quality and supports successful growth in the garden.

Tuber Guarantee

Black River Ranch takes great care in packaging and shipping healthy, viable dahlia tubers. However, we cannot guarantee tuber condition once they have left our care. If there are any concerns upon arrival, please contact  blackriverranchwa@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery and include clear photos of the tubers and packaging so we can assist with diagnosis and resolution.

After 24 hours from delivery, responsibility for the tubers fully transfers to the buyer, as handling and storage conditions are beyond our control.

Due to the nature of live plant material, Black River Ranch is unable to offer refunds for issues related to improper or poor storage conditions, weather-related damage, rot occurring after planting, plant viruses, unsuitable field or soil conditions, neglect, or overall plant performance. These factors are beyond our control and can vary widely based on individual growing environments and care practices.

Return Policy/Disclaimer

Due to the perishable nature of dahlia tubers and the logistics of small-scale flower farming, Black River Ranch is unable to offer replacement tubers. In the rare event of catastrophic damage occurring during shipping, and when reported within the stated timeframe, a full refund of the purchase price may be issued in lieu of replacement.
